Paradise Harbour was named by whalers because it is such a protected anchorage. We plan to zodiac cruise deep into Paradise Harbour to Skontorp Cove. This secluded cove is named after a renowned Norwegian whale gunner, Edvar Skontotp, and is surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers. This region supports nesting blue-eyed shags, cape petrels and Antarctic terns on the nearby cliffs.
